Stages of the procedure:

Step 1: Outlining (40min)

Shape modeling and color selection

based on the tone of melanin in client’s lips.

All pigments for neutralization should be on orange base.

Artist creates an outline of the future symmetrical lips’ form and applies an anesthetic cream, which will begin to work in 15 minutes.

Step 2: Color Application (120 min)

Using special modern machine, artist applies the selected pigment with a sterile disposable module, working on the contour and filling the shape of the lips.

Step 3: Treatment finishing (20 min)

Artist explains aftercare details and offers to make a touch up in 4-6 weeks.

Right after procedure, the lips look brighter than after healing. Swelling may occur. Lips will fade up to 70% in the process of healing.

And on the touch up, you can add the color and improve the shape to obtain an impeccable result.

How your lips will look at different stages of healing:

  • Day 1

Lips have swelling, are tender, and have a heavy, thick lipstick look with an orange-brick color. For the first few days, the color is darker than it will appear when healed.

  • Day 2-3

Lips have less swelling, a thicker texture, are orange, are sore, and have a hot feeling. They are pre-exfoliation.

  • Day 4-6

Exfoliation begins with very chapped lips. The color will become lighter as the epidermis sloughs off. It will appear that lips have lost all of their color during this phase of healing; Be patient. This is a process that does not yield immediate results.

  • Day 7-13

During this phase, lip color disappears and the frosty second chapping phase begins as a whitish, gray haze on the lips.

  • Day 14-21

Color develops more and more each day until day 21 (which is 3 weeks post-procedure).

  • Day 21-30

Healing is complete. The lip color you see is the color that you have. Your lips will remain a bit dry for a month or two. Use a good lip balm, and they will return to normal with full color.
